The beginning of goodbye

I've been so busy in the past few weeks. And I've never been so popular. It seems that every day after work I'm rushing somewhere to meet someone and spend some good quality time together. It's equally strange, though, because every time I leave someone I wonder when I will see them next. Next week? Three months from now? I've felt since college I've lived a somewhat nomadic existence (seriously, does anyone move as much as I do?) but now I actually do. It's very strange. But I hear there are a lot of hippies on Kauai, so if all else fails I can just live on the beach (just kidding, Mom)...

After a great game on Saturday I headed to Iowa City to meet up with friends, some that I wouldn't see again before I left. We had a great time and I thought this would be a good opportunity to see just how posting pictures goes on this blog. Anyway, we hit the town in IC and I ended up spending some quality time and said goodbye to some good friends. But that's just the beginning--I'm throwing a big party this weekend and my mom's putting one together at home this weekend as well. Like I said, I've never been this popular.

And, for the first time a couple of days ago, I realized that I'm really moving. I'm actually going. And when I get there I'll be at square one without friends to say hello to, much less goodbye. I'm not so worried about making friends--I'm fairly outgoing, but it's still scary going in all alone with no real background. Good thing I have my support net at home.

So I have a few ideas for you. After reading your enjoyable blog (you are such a deep thinker, I like it!)I came up with 2 options. You can just tell people that you are going to miss me too much and have decided to stay in Des Moines. Or if you dont like that option you could go on your marry little way and move to Hawaii and continue to blog so that I have somthing to read at work and distract me from the work I dont really like to do!! You choose!
