And that's my room as seen from the lanai. I've noticed that there is no good way to tell just how big (or rather, small) this place is, so I got out my handy-dandy Durabuilt measuring tape and the room is a little more than 19 feet deep by 12 feet wide (which, by the way, looks huge according to my tape measure since it's only a 12 footer). The bathroom is approx. 6' x 7'. It sounds small but as I sit here on the mattress on the floor (the frame is coming), I look aroud and realize that I have nothing to put here, so it won't be so crowded. There's a table and chairs that I will probably set up sometime in the near future and a dresser that I drug out of the closet. There's a big entertainment center thingy too but again, what am I going to put on it? The only thing I have a plethora of is is clothing and, of course, the dresser is pretty small. Ironic world, isn't it?
Anyway, I'll put up better photos when it's done, but the stove doesn't come in until Tuesday and they're putting in cabinets and an island eventually. It's cute. It'll get the job done. Had a really busy week and no time to tell about it--I'm heading to Lihue for a Halloween party. Yeah, I got a photocopy of an invitation from my boss who, by the way, is not holding the party. So I don't know where it is exactly and I don't know the host per se, but I do know that they're from work and they're ok people. Plus, I get food and a costume party and get to meet new people. Definate bonus. Maybe I'll recap on the week (and the party) tomorrow. Just thought I would share my new dwelling. If you don't have the address and want it, shoot me an email. Hope all is well~

That looks like a castle compared to what we used to live in!!! I'm sure you will get the house "Homeified" soon. Take care. Cinda
