We had a really great time, and we were also excited about Allyson and Chad's engagement photos--more came up later on Friday night (so check again if you missed the second posting). Saturday, after some recovering (late afternoon), we headed to DM to meet up with friends Braden, Kim, and Rachel (who came up from KC) and went mini-golfing...it had been so long since I'd done that! And then today was spent catching up on this, that, and everything else, including looking for a new car. I'm a big fan of the Toyota Prius, but I'm not sold yet. I feel like I wouldn't be entirely comfortable in a sedan-ish car, but don't think I would mind a hatchback. I've driven an SUV for so long and I feel so small in a car. I like the flexibility to lay down the seats if I need to, but then again, Rick bought a Ford Escape earlier this year, so we don't really need two SUVs... I really like the idea of a hybrid as well. The bill passed (still waiting on the President's approval) and is expected to be in effect July 1st. Check out the Cash for Clunkers website for more info (though I still think Jewel is not quite clunker status). Any thoughts or suggestions on cars?

Allyson's bachelorette party!!
Friday was the big day--Allyson's bachelorette party! Allyson's best friend's mom, Robin, hosted at her place with some delicious food and pre-partying before the party bus showed up. We had a great time! And Mom, Aunt Peggy, Allyson's future mother-in-law and Pam and Robin stayed out with us all night! We had a lot of fun! Here are some photos from the night:
Everyone on the bus
Me and Allyson at the end of the night
They sang "You've lost that lovin' feelin'" to her at the piano bar
Most of the girls out in front of the piano bar
