Lilies in full bloom

The columbines, azaleas and rhododendron are past bloom, but the lilies are out in full force!  The hydrangea and bleeding heart are doing very well right now too, but they'll bloom all summer so I thought I would feature the lilies in this post.

The maroon lilies really spread since last year (there were 3 stalks of each color planted), and the pink are also really taking off.  The yellow is not putting out many blooms, but it is in partial sun instead of full sun so that may be a factor.  The orange are doing well, and the duo color (my favorite) have spread the least but still look great!

I tried my hand at arranging again, and think I did better this time.  I had so many burgundy I made a bouquet of them and then brought in some additional color with a few blooms of orange and the duo.  I think they look great and they are holding together much better than the columbines did!
Looks like I'll need to do a lot of splitting this fall!

Thanks! Let me know if you want some at the end of the season--I'm going to have to split them!

Ashley,
I love those colors and lilies are my favorite! Please let me know if you need a home for some! I can find a spot at our new house!
