Easter

 Last weekend was Easter and we milked the weekend for all it was worth!  We headed up to my parent's house Friday night so we could get an early start on Saturday for the Easter egg hunt!  Northwood put on a nice egg hunt and the area was divided up by age group.  The area we went to had eggs just strewn on the ground, no real looking.  Natalie had practiced before the big day but when the time came, she and Kendall were not really into it.  We veered off from the crowd and sort of formed a little circle around the girls so they had 5 or 6 eggs to pick up at their pace.  Which was slow.  But it was fun and they seemed to have a decent time despite the cold.

 I went to a high school friend's bridal shower while Rick and Natalie went to play at my sister's house.  It was good to catch up with those girls (and even better that evening at the brewery) while the little girls played.

 Natalie decided not to nap all day Saturday but was in good spirits all day.  Too much going on I guess.  Rick and I went out with some of my high school friends that night but were in bed by 11 for sunrise service at 6:30.

 The girls did well at church, especially given the early hour, and Natalie loved going up to sit with the big kids at the children's sermon.  After church was breakfast and when we got back to my parents' we took some glamour shots in their Easter dresses.

 As soon as we took the girls down and told them they were done with pictures, they wanted back up on the stone for more!  It was pretty cute.

 After pictures we got back into our comfy clothes and Natalie once again refused to nap.  We helped my mom get ready for Easter dinner where my aunt and uncle and cousin's family joined us.  It was great to see them all and catch up.  My cousin's kids loved playing with the girls and vice versa.  It was crazy fun!

 After lunch we headed outside to enjoy the beautiful weather.  Natalie was starting to get crabby (remember, no nap yet Sunday after getting up early and none on Saturday) and we left mid-afternoon.  It was a great and busy weekend!  Hope everyone had a nice weekend too!
