Fall Fun

This fall has been beautiful and we have been taking advantage of the weather!  A few weekends ago Rick and I took Natalie to Center Grove Orchard.  We had gone last year but Natalie was too little to do much, but this year she could do more.  We got there first thing that morning but it was pretty busy by the time we left.
Natalie was very excited to jump on the big pillow, but she wasn't brave enough to head to the middle to do much jumping.
She loved riding with me on the pedal tractors and down the big slide with Rick!

It was a great family outing!

Last weekend my sister and niece came to visit, and we kept the girls busy!  We headed to Howell's Pumpkin Patch this time and the girls loved it.
Kendall loved the corn but Natalie wasn't so sure.
The wiggle cars were a lot of fun!  The girls just scooted around but my sister and I joined in as well.  They are "wiggle powered"--just rock the wheel back and forth and they go pretty fast!  Probably my favorite area to play!  The girls loved the big tube slide but my sister and I didn't enjoy the bump at the bottom!
Although it was a chilly morning, we had a lot of fun and the girls were good sports.

After grabbing a bite to eat while we were out, we headed home for nap time.  The afternoon turned out to be beautiful so we put on the girls' Halloween costumes on and headed to the zoo for Night Eyes.
There weren't very many animals out, but the girls got some good practice in trick-or-treating and seemed to have a great time.  We rode the train and Kendall and Allyson rode the carousel; Natalie was too scared to ride.  She was also very scared of the Cat in the Hat.
Natalie's favorite part of Night Eyes (and perhaps the whole weekend) was getting her picture taken with the princesses!

Sunday was action-packed as well; the girls played in the morning and when Kendall and Allyson headed home Natalie and I headed to a friend's for more playing.  Five kids under 6--it was a bit chaotic but fun to see everyone.  Back home for nap and when Natalie woke up we headed to a local pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins.  Natalie had fun running around and picking them out and liked riding in the wheelbarrow too.  We are planning on carving them this weekend and then we're almost ready for Halloween--just need to buy some candy!
