I'm doing what I do best--procrastinating. I should be packing for my trip back to the mainland (my plane leaves in T-9 hours) but I'm too lazy. And there's not much to take. I'll be in meetings for 3 days and don't have a coat here... Anyway, the funny thing is that not only is Pioneer flying me there, putting me up in a hotel, and giving me a credit card for all meals, I'm also getting paid for travel time. I worked 50 hours this week (and that's after 2 half days off due to rain) but I'll be "working" at least 53 hours starting tomorrow. Nice. Made me laugh just a little on the inside.
But I'm completely drained. Had a migraine on Friday night coupled with the worry of a tsunami threat... Damn Japan and their earthquakes. A 10 hour day on Saturday didn't make my head feel any better and the 4 hours I put in this morning put me over the top. I think my brain is mush. Yummy.
And I'll be Mainland bound soon. Officially a kama'aina and leaving once again. It feels so weird this time--I was just there. It's good, don't get me wrong, just weird, feeling like I have two lives in two completely different places.
