Everyone at work knows that I'm leaving now and everyone has been really supportive. I have decided my last day at work will be November 16--they've already scheduled my exit interview. And there hasn't been a whole lot going on at work either, so it's been pretty relaxed. Nice way to end my time here...
Thursday I invited some girls from work over to watch Grey's Anatomy--we had a good time. There's a new girl in town from California named Hillary; she just moved here last week and she's pretty fun. Anyway, Thursday turned out to be a bit of a girls' night. Good times.
Friday after work I went to get an hour-long massage--it was awesome. I felt so great afterwards. There was a work party for Hillary and Yara (who had just gotten back from about 6 months in Canada) at one of the beach parks. I didn't get there until about 5 because of my massage, but it was in full swing. Unfortunately, this park was home to several homeless and two guys would not leave us alone. And by us, I mean the 3 or 4 of us young haole girls. We all played that we were sisters and married in hopes that they would leave us alone, but no such luck. Can I ask how they got motorized cooler scooters? Anyway, we had a great time and I learned a lot about some of my co-workers. I was in bed by 10. Gotta love the early to bed, early to rise...
Yesterday was some shopping and booking a trip to the Big Island for next weekend. That will be fun--I can't wait. And today is pretty low-key as well. I'm hoping to get rid of my car today--I've decided to just take what someone will offer me instead of trying to drive it into town to a dealer. I just want to sell it before my insurance expires next week.
And that's all from me for now. A lazy Sunday. Followed by another slow week at work...
