After a busy week in the lab and finding out that my test didn't go as badly as I had feared, Rick and Kim and Braden and I headed south to visit Rachel and Kjell. We arrived on Friday night and over the course of the weekend ate way too much including BBQ in a gas station (I highly recommend
Oklahoma Joe's). We drank and played Wii, walked around the Plaza, enjoying the beautiful weather. Even headed out to the comedy club.
It was good to hang out again. But then again, it's always good to be home again. I feel like I'm preparing for the storm. Next weekend is relaxed, but the three weekends after that are action-packed. And finals fit in there somewhere. That's one thing you can always count on--time marches on whether you're ready or not.

COLDSTONE?! You SUCK (as the picture so aptly illustrates). But you guys all missed the best weekend to hit KC - all the cool kids did it Apr 3rdish for Ratchie's B-day!
