A call for warm thoughts

If you have any warm thoughts or prayers to spare, Jay could really use them. Jay is a good college friend and also my roommate Lauren's husband. If you know them, you love them. Jay has been fighting a brain tumor for as long as I have known him, though he was always just Jay. Nothing got the best of him. Especially not this.

Last Friday Jay was put in Hospice. I just can't believe this is really happening.

They're such a great couple, and have great devotion, support, and love for one another. Lauren's strength continues to amaze me.



Please keep Jay and Lauren and their families in your thoughts and prayers.

My great aunt Jill has also been in and out of the hospital with complications from her leukemia--please keep her and her family in your prayers as well.
