What's in the fridge

I know this isn't as exciting as a wedding post, but we tend to keep a pretty well-stocked fridge. My sister is always amazed at our selection. Between being gone for Christmas and the wedding/honeymoon, we really cut down on what we had lying around. Opening the fridge today to see what was for lunch was pretty depressing. We had no bread, no milk, no ramen noodles even.

Aside from a door half full of assorted (probably expired) condiments and pickles, here's what's in my fridge:
  • one juice box
  • three blocks of cheese
  • half a dozen eggs
  • half a summer sausage
  • two pieces of lefse (is it still ok to eat?)
  • half a cheese ball
  • one Dr. Pepper
  • an old head of lettuce
  • 2 apples
  • half a dozen Keystone
  • a tub of strawberries that need to be thrown out
  • 3 bottles of water

It's really sad. The freezer's not much better. I can't believe it's gotten this bad, but then again we're not going to completely stock up since we're moving in a few weeks.

I know it's not really exciting or depressing to anyone but me, but think about your fridge. Would you be sad if you were finally home after a long time gone and there was nothing you wanted to eat? Good thing Rick's off at the store...he's so good at grocery shopping :)
