But it has a ways to go! Where is all the snow? I am not ashamed to say that I am a huge snow lover and although the weather has been warm, I would prefer the snow. Dead grass is not appealing. Bring on the cold, as long as there's glistening snow!
There's a lot going on around here. We had a jump on Christmas decorating since we hosted an early Christmas with my grandparents. The tree is now decorated, and the presents are wrapped and I think we're ready to go! Friday I had some ladies over for a little Christmas party which was really nice. We just watched some Christmas movies and ate too much, but it was good to get together with some girlfriends. Saturday my friend Kristen and I knocked out the tail end of our Christmas shopping. I rounded out my Christmas-y weekend with a trip to Jolly Holiday Lights with my hubby!
In other news, we
finally got window treatments after nearly 2 years in our house! Blinds all around and verticals on the sliding door. They look good and I swear the house is warmer when I get home from work. The house is continually coming together.
I also have a new haircut which I'm pretty excited about, but no pictures yet. In the mean time, let it snow!
