Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!  We had a great weekend and I thought I would share some pictures.
It was a busy weekend.  Saturday morning we went over to my sister's house so the girls could play.  Their cat had just had kittens so Natalie got to pet them.  She was a little hesitant at first (she tends to be scared of most things), but she thought they were soft and liked petting them.
After playing at Kendall's house, we headed in to town for the Easter egg hunt.  Last year the girls weren't very interested in picking up the eggs (nor were they very good at it), but this year they were very excited about the prospect of candy.  Grandma and Rick corralled the girls back to an area where there weren't any other kids and they made out like bandits.

Back to Grandma's for lunch and then a nap.  After nap the girls played outside in the gorgeous weather.  It was a little windy and a bit chilly, but spring is on the way!  The girls were very excited about riding tricycles, but neither were very good at it.  But they enjoyed taking turns pushing each other.

Grandpa tried to take advantage of the breeze and pulled out a kite.  It took a little while to get it in the air, but the girls loved it.  And they were brutally honest when it was falling down out of the sky.

This morning we didn't have sunrise service for a (nice) change, so we had a leisurely morning with breakfast at church.  After enduring the service (because when you have toddlers and one covers the other in squeeze fruit, it is enduring), we went back to Grandma's for pictures.  The girls loved being in their pretty Easter dresses--they thought they were princesses.

It was a great weekend!  Happy Easter everyone!
