Congratulations, Munchkin!

For those of you who may not know, my sister graduated from Iowa State University this past weekend with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in psychology. She also completed the honors program and graduated magna cum laude. Yeah, I'm bragging her up a little. What can I say--I'm proud.
Here she is with her fellow Senior Class Council members. In case you don't know Allyson, she's the tall one on the left.
I had a lot of family in town for the weekend and it was good to see them all. Fun times. We went to the LAS ceremony Friday and the university ceremony Saturday--man, there were a lot of graduates! Made me remember how small Wartburg was...
Allyson was not very photogenic during the ceremony (I think Mom and I embarrassed her a little), but there is a sweet photo of her on the ISU homepage. Check it out--a picture I could never get.
After the ceremony on Saturday, Allyson and her roommate Anne had a party out at Chad's house--it was fun, despite the crummy weather. Like I said earlier, we had a ton of family in town and it was good to see everyone and celebrate Allyson's graduation.

And, in case you're wondering, my finals went very well--finished my molecular genetics class with a 96%. Too bad I only get one week off...
