Sorry it's been a while--school has been crazy lately. The MPS Run went really well--we raised nearly $1500, if I remember correctly. I was impressed by the amount of people that showed up and we all agreed it was a good showing for our first run. Next year should be even better!

And then there's school--crazy. I'm reading a lot of papers for class, and last week there were two take home tests that consumed my life--including staying up until 3 am on Wednesday morning. I thought those days were over! Anyway, it's been hectic and at least there's a temporary relief for now. But when there's a lull in class, that means I should be working harder in the lab. It never ends...well, it will be over in a year or so!

Rick and I met up with friends the past two weekends in Des Moines. Below are some pictures from Oktoberfest last weekend.

Other than that, life is life. Football games and work and school and readying myself for fall. Allyson and Chad have a wedding website now, and we've been dress shopping in recent weeks and will go again next week. Lots of planning yet to occur, but I'm really excited!

Check out this cool voting video. I enjoyed it. Watch the debates, educate yourself on the issues that matter to you, and vote next month!
Until later, enjoy the beautiful colors of fall!
