The past week has been very relaxing! Class was dismissed for the Thanksgiving holiday and work hasn't been too stressful--it was nice. Last weekend we went out with some friends to celebrate being almost done with school and it was so great to not worry about studying or my thesis (which, by the way, has been uploaded and approved by the graduate college--I'm DONE with it!!!) and just relax with friends.
Rick and I started the home buying process. We have been
pre-approved for a loan and have a realtor and have looked at a few houses so far... It's daunting and exciting all at the same time! It's a buyer's market and there are a lot of nice houses out there, now just to find the right one for us...
Rick and I went shopping the day before Thanksgiving and got most of our Christmas shopping done :) Thursday we went to Grandma's for Thanksgiving and had a nice day with family.

Rick's best friend from college came up to visit for a few days and we've had a great time showing him around and hanging out with him. I hadn't met Jeff before, but the two of them together are quite a handful! I'm looking forward to tonight when some other friends will join us, but the three of us have been having a good time together the past few days. Yesterday we decided to go ice skating at the arena by our apartment. Rick had never skated before and only fell once, but I wouldn't say he had mastered it by the end of the day... Jeff, on the other hand, was an old pro.

We're not too busy in the next few weeks, but that's nice for a change. I just can't wait to get the Christmas decorations up--where's the snow?
