Vacation part 2: Wyoming and Devil's Tower

We crossed the South Dakota border into Wyoming before lunch on Sunday. The scenery changed again and kept changing as we drove west.

We stopped at Devil's Tower in north east Wyoming for an hour or so. It's crazy how it just rises up out of the earth! Interesting place to stop.

There were climbers on the tower--looks tough!

After Devil's Tower we drove until we hit Cody, stayed at a nice hotel and had a great steak. This put us only 50 miles from Yellowstone!
