For the first time since I graduated from
Wartburg College in 2005, I attended
Wartburg homecoming. Rick and I made it there for the end of the parade and went to the
Renaissance Fair. There was a reunion luncheon and I got to see classmates I hadn't seen since I graduated. It was great to catch up! Rick and I headed to the homecoming football game until we heard that
ISU beat Texas! and we went looking for friends to share the news with.
The afternoon brought Oktoberfest where we met up with old roommates and friends and had a great evening. We went out for a little bit afterwards, but we were home and snug in bed at a decent hour. It was a lot of fun and I think even Rick had a good time.
