The Hiroshima Castle was wiped out by the atomic bomb, but had been rebuilt. There was a lot of armor and different cultural items that we had not previously seen. Unfortunately, there was no English translation. That's how it goes sometimes...

We tried on some traditional garb and caught a photo with some school kids... we literally took 10 more photos outside of the castle with a number of groups of kids
That night we went out for karaoke. Karaoke was different, but very fun. We rented a small room by the hour and it was just us. No waiting for your song to come up, no listening to the drunk guy sing, just us singing the songs we wanted. It was so fun. Even Rick was singing!
The building where we sang was also an arcade. Not just for kids, either. It was probably 4 or 5 stories tall and full of all sorts of games. Rick and I are playing some drumming game here and all three of us raced with the arcade version of Mario Kart. So much fun!
