I'm not sure where the minutes and hours and days go. I don't feel that busy and my calendar doesn't reflect a strenuous social life, but I know that the amount of time I spend doing "nothing" or "things for me" is fairly minimal. Even though the time is flying, I still can't believe that it's only been 5 months since our little lady showed up in our lives. It seems like she's been part of our lives for so much longer. I love starting and ending every day with her.
Things have been going well with Miss Natalie. She's been eating rice cereal for about a month and some days are better than others. I'd like to say she's getting better at it, but generally speaking she's been more fussy the past few weeks so it's been going a little less well. We think she's working on some bottom teeth, but they have yet to emerge so as of now we can just say she's crabby. Oh well, she's a baby. She's allowed to be crabby sometimes. There were a few days where she stopped sleeping through the night, but luckily that only lasted a few nights and she's back to being our good little sleeper.
Since the last post I also had my first Mother's Day. Rick gave me some gorgeous flowers and Natalie made me a card with her picture and footprint at daycare. It was very cute! We headed up to my parents' house for the weekend to spend Mother's Day with my mom, and we had a very nice weekend.

Rick and I took both Natalie and her cousin Kendall up with us to my parents' house. We were helping my sister out and in theory it was a good idea, but, of course, they didn't sleep as much as we had hoped and traded off screaming most of the way home. To be fair, Natalie started it... At least when we got to my parents' house there were more hands to help hold and comfort babies!

We've been dodging severe weather the past few days but hopefully the rain will stop and we can enjoy the long weekend coming up.
