Yeah, yesterday I had the bugs in my lunch again. Only two this time though, so it wasn't nearly as traumatic as the first time. But if we want to talk about trauma, picture waking up this morning and seeing something run across your arm, which, by the way, is tucked behind your head. I'm not certain what it was since I was sleeping and the room was dark, but the object was darker than my pasty arm and the size of a mouse. Could have been a cane spider, but I didn't remember feeling a large amount of legs. Needless to say, I was startled and flung myself out of bed. Looked for whatever it was with a shoe in hand and never found anything. Personally, I think that's far worse than finding it. I kept trying to tell myself I imagined it, but it woke me up, I saw it, and immediately afterwards I felt sick to my stomach. And then it made me want to cry because if I called in sick I would want to lay in bed all day and that was pretty much out of the question. So I have a mysterious (and unwanted) guest in my studio.
Been really busy at work--put in 20 hours the past 2 days. We get Thursday and Sunday off though, so that should be good. Went out and ate steak on Saturday night and on Sunday looked at a place in Hanapepe--closer to work. I'll be moving in wiht Kristin (from paddling) in January to a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom place. It's clean and cute and has a big kitchen. Other than that excitement, not too much here. Nicole, Rick and I are having a Thanksgiving at lunch time tomorrow and later I'm taking Rick with me to the Campbell's for a big family Thanksgiving. I'm pretty excited, but I still have to put together my salad, bread, pie, and potatoes. Running to Lihue tonight for supplies.
Happy Thanksgiving to one and all!!
