Tuesday morning we got up and going fairly early and headed to the North Shore to explore. We went to the end of the road and worked our way back to where we came from. Allyson and I got our picture taken under a really cool tree on Ke'e Beach.
We hiked a little ways on the Kalalau trail--Mom tried to give up, but Allyson practiced tough love and she made Mom keep going. Mom will tell you know the hike was worth it.
We stopped at the Kilauea Lighthouse and we saw Spinner Dolphins--it was pretty cool. Then off to Lihue where I had an appointment with the oral surgeon. I'm not looking forward to that.
Then off to Salt Pond Beach for Tuesday night bonding with my friends. Rick and I at the beach above.
Rhian got us plumeria too--everyone got along splendidly. It was good for my family to meet my friends and vice versa.
