My memory is starting to get fuzzy. I'm fairly confident Thursday was pretty low-key. We slept in and headed west to go to Polihale but with all of the rain the road was sub-par. I talked Allyson into shave ice instead.
Then eastward to shop. More souvenirs. Thursday was also sailing day, and Mom and Allyson said they were up for a race. Mom cheered as loud as possible and Allyson was less than impressed with the hour-long race. Apparently anything that takes longer than 10 minutes shouldn't be considered a race.
Excitement ensued when I forgot to close the hatch to the hull (the bottom part of the boat) and I fell backwards about four feet before I hit the stairs. I, along with the rest of the crew, am wondering how I didn't break anything. I wish you could have seen it--it was impressive the way I saved my own ass.
Friday morning we got up early and headed out on a Na Pali and Ni'ihau cruise with
Holo Holo Charters. It was so great. My friends Craig and Rhian came wiht us (which Mom was thankful for) and we had a blast. We spent the early morning on the Na Pali Coast.
We saw
tons of spinner dolphins and whales--the whole thing was spectacular!
