I got a call from my co-worker Karen yesterday--she landed on Kauai and called to ask if she could drink the water or not. Anyway, it made me laugh a little and since I have such wonderful access to the web at work, I thought I would share some overhead pictures of Kauai while I updated you on my life.
Christmas was great--saw the whole family and played some good quality games. Got a lot of great gifts (Kitchen Aid Mixer!!), but really it's all about being with those you love.
It's been cold here and I've been sporting the flannel-lined jeans. Settling in to the house quite well, though we may have to pass on the Internet due to unavailability. But it's great to go home and feel like it's a home...
I haven't gotten around to getting my drivers license yet, but I think I'm still able to caucus. So I'm going to join the crazy world of politics for the night and see what caucusing is all about. I'm kind of excited, but now I need to do some research on the candidates.
Sorry for the lack of entries lately and the bad writing--I'm at work, so I'd better look busy. Hope the pictures are keeping everyone warm! Go and caucus!
