The house is in a new development just east of Highway 141 and north of 70th Ave on the border of Grimes and Johnston. So far, there's only two houses on the cul de sac and there's two acreages (with horses) across the street. The location is great, but so is the house!
It has a great covered porch in the backyard--perfect for the summer! And Rick loves to grill and I love to entertain, so I envision some great weekend barbecues!
The interior is great-- we love the open floor plan downstairs that brings together the living room and the kitchen with the deck off the back... we love it!
The kitchen is great too! Love the counter space and the island, and the floors! Love it!
Here we are in front of our fireplace. The seller said a couple about our age bought the house next door and will be moving in a few weeks before we will. She said they're really nice and we'll like them--I hope so! My sister and her husband are great friends with their neighbors--I would love to have that too!

Thanks! We are so excited--it was really tough to come back to the apartment and know that we'll be living here another month. I want to move in tomorrow! We are supposed to close the 29th of January--it is nice that we'll be gone for 2 weeks so it doesn't seem so long. It's so exciting!
