Ugh

They took out my stitches this morning and checked me out--oral surgeon said he didn't think I had a dry socket though. Good. But when you call and they say it sounds like dry socket, you don't mess around with them. He did, however, flush out a ton of food with the handy-dandy syringe they never gave me. That made me feel much better, in the mouth at least. I left work early today feeling nauseous from the pain meds and have been taking it slow ever since.

Couldn't sleep last night between painkillers--called Mom to chat at 2 AM and when her phone cut out she called a wrong number. Woke some poor sleeping soul. Made me laugh a little.

Anyway, thought I would pass along the news that I don't have dry socket but I do have more pain medication. And I just keep thinking how they had never bothered me before...

I can't believe they took them out if they weren't a problem....mine irritate me every now and again, but they keep telling me to hold on to them, they aren't hurting anything...you should get a different dentist, Dr. Owen in Chaska, MN is a great doctor, you might consider him....:)

Hope you get to feeling better soon! ~scarlett

I felt for you, but the pictures made me laugh. The minute I go to a new dentist I tell them to leave my wisdom teeth alone!

You must have more of the Julseth heritage, because us Dierenfeld's don't get wisdom teeth, or at least the ones with Pankers heritage. Grandma, Mom, Jill, Ellen, Me, etc. Guess we are wise enough without them!!

Glad you are feeling better. You won't get addicted, so take the pain meds when you need it. C.
