Saturday (June 2nd) Jane had to work, so we went with her boyfriend Motoaki and her friends Will and Gemma to Kurashiki--a town known for its historical district. We wandered around all day and played up the tourist factor. We went to a temple, a shrine, the archaeology museum, an art museum, and the museum of natural history.
We visited this house as well which, in its prime, was owned by wealthy merchants in the town.
