After dropping our bags at the hotel, we headed for Osakajo (Osaka castle).
The castle was surrounded by a courtyard and small village. It also had a dry moat and a conventional moat surrounding it. The interior had scrolls and paintings as well as armor.
Out in the courtyard there were street performers. It was a very nice first afternoon in Japan.
