Loose horse and more Japan
I can't believe it's taking me so long to share all my pictures from Japan!! I'll buckle down this weekend and hopefully get them all out. I wish I was still there. Work's been a real bear this week--the highlight was catching a loose horse on the highway Friday afternoon. I was driving from one office to the next and stopped with a rope, made a makeshift halter, and walked the 3-year-old filly to the Pioneer station. As soon as we got there, someone had located her owner and he came, haltered her, and tied her to the bumper and trotted her home. I was glad to help (and be around horses), but it made me miss Maggie!

The castle in Tsyuama had come down (I can't remember the cause of the destruction), but they had rebuilt one of the guard houses.

Here we are on our day out on our own. Jane says her town is small--look at all the buildings!
I just love the architecture!
